Branding The Ecuabright Group

The Ecuabright Group is a consultant agency founded by Sharon Blecker, who attended Penn State and MIT where she studied management analytics and strategic communication. She uses her skills to help companies with their project management and employee retention by identifying issues, risks and uncover new opportunities by analysing their data. The name Ecuabright comes from her Ecuadorian roots and this background fuels her passion to work with non-profits. Ecuabright was a new start up company and they needed a complete brand identity. While they have a love for data it is something the average person might think is boring, so we needed to create a brand that threads that needle of showing it is a serious number crunching business but has a personality. This is a B2B consultancy group and the target audience are non-profits and NGO's so the brand can not look to high end as this market is known to be budget conscious. For this project I created the logo, business cards, letter head, marketing materials, brand guidelines and custom illustrations.

Building Trust

Reputation is everything when it comes to a consultancy businesses. Most of the B2B clients are through referrals so our goal was to focus on creating a brand that instilled trust.

Data-Driven for the Win

To drive home the data theme the logo symbol is an "e" combined with a graph. This circular icon also works well for merchandising and for social profile photos. For the colours we went with the primary colour being shades of blue which symbolise trust, loyalty, stability and intelligence. We added the complimentary pop of yellow to give the brand more personality and to be on theme with the name Ecuabright. The accompanying illustrations are in a cute style to give the brand an approachable feel and not to feel to elevated and out of price range for our clientele.
